Police hunt teen accused of killing Citadel cadet and childhood friend, warn of 'armed and dangerous' suspect
A 17-year-old suspect faces second-degree murder charges in the DeLand, Florida, double homicide of Citadel cadet Dustin Rose and Samson Campbell.
The DeLand Police Department announced they have secured an arrest warrant for a 17-year-old suspect on two counts of second-degree murder.
Dustin Rose, 19, and Samson Campbell, 18, were last seen on surveillance video walking on a sidewalk around 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 28.
The pair was found dead the next day in a vacant lot in downtown DeLand, police say.
It was not immediately clear if the teen would be charged as an adult in this case.
