Other destinations benefiting from increased frequencies include Dublin, Frankfurt, Johannesburg, Madrid, and Toronto. These markets are particularly important for Qatar Airways, as they represent both leisure and business hubs with strong demand for international travel. The airline is expanding services to cater to this demand and ensure travelers can take advantage of convenient flight schedules.
Beyond its core European and African markets, Qatar Airways is also making strides in Asia and Australia. Notably, the airline is launching flights from Melbourne to Doha in partnership with Virgin Australia, marking a significant step in its commitment to expanding capacity on this vital route. In addition, Qatar Airways is reintroducing services to Canberra, further improving connectivity between Australia and the rest of the world.
For Asian destinations, Qatar Airways is also increasing its presence in Tokyo Narita, boosting the frequency of its flights from 11 weekly services to up to 14. This will provide travelers with more options to fly between Doha and Japan, a key route for both business and tourism. The airline has similarly increased its flight offerings to the Maldives, with up to four daily services compared to the previous three.
