IndiGo Announces Leadership Change: Isidro Porqueras to Step in as COO from November 2024

IndiGo has nominated Mr. Isidro Porqueras for appointment as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective November 1, 2024, pending regulatory approvals. He will succeed Mr. Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, who has been leading IndiGo's operations since 2018 and is set to retire later this year after seven years of successful service.

Mr. Porqueras brings over 25 years of experience managing high-performance teams across various domains, including operations, commercial strategy, and finance. Since joining IndiGo in April 2024 as Chief of Transformation, he has been involved in several key operational projects. Prior to IndiGo, he served as COO at Volotea, one of Europe’s fastest-growing airlines, and held roles at McKinsey and Uralita.
