Amtrak Elevates Byl Herrmann to Executive VP and General Counsel, Guiding the Company's Strategic Direction

Amtrak has named Byl Herrmann as its new Executive Vice President and General Counsel. In this role, Herrmann will lead the development of the department's long-term strategic vision, establish key priorities, and oversee the annual operating plan, all aligned with Amtrak's broader strategic and corporate goals.

Herrmann, who joined Amtrak's Law Department in 1999, has spent the past 25 years excelling in various roles of increasing responsibility. His career includes a year as Vice President of Human Resources. In his most recent position as Vice President, Senior Managing Deputy General Counsel, and Assistant Corporate Secretary, Herrmann has overseen litigation, corporate transactions, legal compliance, and the Corporate Secretary's office.
